Why choose us

Built around one idea: you should know the price first

Published rates you can check before you call, itemised pricing, and no hidden out-of-hours multiplier.

Published rates, not a quote-on-arrival game

Prices are set by job type and time band and published on the pricing page.

One fixed price per job

The price agreed before we travel is the price you pay, not a starting figure that grows once the van is on site.

Itemised, not bundled

Where a job has more than one part, each is priced separately so you can see exactly what you're paying for.

No hidden out-of-hours multiplier

Evening, weekend and emergency time bands are published rates, not a surprise uplift on arrival.

Engineers working to the published rate card

Itemised drainage job pricing and report

Itemised invoicing

An invoice that matches what was agreed

Every job with more than one component — a survey plus a repair, say — is priced and itemised separately, so the final invoice never surprises you.

Before we arrive

Before your booking

Four things worth doing before the engineer arrives — none of them require a plumber.

Stop using the drain

Avoid adding to the problem — stop running water or flushing until we're on site.

Clear access to the manhole

Move bins, planters or parked vehicles away from covers so we can start without delay.

Photograph what's happening

Timestamped photos help confirm the job type and price band when you call.

Check the rate card first

See roughly what your job costs before you even pick up the phone.

How it works

From Published Rate to Fixed Invoice

01

Check the rate card

Job type and time band tell you roughly what to expect before you even call.

02

Agree the exact figure

We confirm the precise price for your job on the call — not an estimate that changes on site.

03

Itemised invoice, no surprises

You get a clear invoice matching what was agreed, broken down by job component if there was more than one.

Pricing questions

Published Drainage Prices: Common Questions

Is the price on your pricing page what I'll actually pay?

Yes, for the job type and time band it describes. If your job turns out to need something extra once we're on site, we quote and itemise that separately before doing it — the original figure doesn't change.

Why itemise instead of one bundled price?

So you can see what each part of the job actually costs — a CCTV survey priced separately from a repair, for example — rather than a single number you have to take on trust.

Are out-of-hours rates really fixed?

Yes. Evening, weekend and emergency time bands are published rates, confirmed on the call before we travel — not a multiplier applied once the engineer is on your doorstep.

Will insurance pay these fees?

Some buildings and home-emergency policies cover drainage call-outs. Check your policy wording — we provide an itemised invoice that makes a claim straightforward to support.

What areas of London do you cover?

All 33 Greater London boroughs, all at the same published rates. See our areas hub for local pages, or send your postcode via the contact form.

What if the job turns out to be cheaper than the published rate suggests?

Then you pay the lower figure. Published rates are a ceiling for that job type and time band, not a target.

Is there a call-out fee on top of the job price?

Where a call-out or minimum charge applies it is shown on the pricing page and confirmed when you book. We do not invent equipment surcharges or admin fees after the visit.

Can I get a written quote for my postcode?

Yes. Send the symptoms, property type and postcode via the contact form. We reply with the exact published price and the earliest slot.
